DSS ransacked Kanu's room in Kuje prison - IPOB

Abuja - The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has accused the Department of State Services (DSS) of ransacking the room of their leader and director of Radio Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu in Kuje prison.
The group alleged that the DSS has devised another systematic way of planning to poison Kanu with poisonous chemicals.

In a statement released by the group and made available to News24 Nigeria, the Biafra agitators stated that the DSS operatives were acting on the directives of President Muhammadu Buhari and leaders of the ruling party, All Progressive Congress (APC).

The group threatened to start a civil war if the director of the DSS,  Lawal Musa Daura does not resign or be sacked by the Senate.
It called on the international community, Amnesty international, all relevant human right organizations and human right to come to the aid of the detained leader.
An analyst had alleged the accusation by the Directorate of State Services (DSS) that members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) were behind the killings of Hausa-Fulani natives in Abia State was a ploy to incriminate detained Biafra activist, Nnamdi Kanu.
Jude Ndukwe doubted the authenticity of the DSS’ claims considering the service’s controversies in recent times.

He claimed this was a ploy by DSS to justify the continued detention of Kanu.
